HE'S FINALLY DONE!
Sebastian was a big challenge to make but I am so glad I took him on! He is a commission for
Everything about this plush pushed me to get better. I used the same revamped pattern that I developed when I made Chihiro and I am still loving it. It is so much better in every way from the one I used to use.
The clothes were difficult to make but also a lot of fun! He has so many layers @.@ Underneath his vest is a white button up shirt with a collar. I cuffed the sleeves to make them look extra cute. His vest is not removable but I didn't sew it all the way together so you can open it up a little ways to look at his tie and shirt underneath and it has machine embroidered buttons.
The trench coat took several tries to get right XD I finally got it large enough to where it can be removed without too much difficulty but still looks fantastic when on. To take it off you have to do some pulling on the sleeves since his hands are so big but it will come. It has machine embroidered buttons on it as well and I even made tiny belt loops so his belt will be sure to stay on. Its hard to tell from the pictures but his coat also has little flaps on either side of the opening and a collar that stands up in the back behind his hair.
His head was the funnest part to make by far! I got a new, larger embroidery hoop so embroidering his eyes were a breeze this time and I am so happy with how they look
They look so good in person! I used the same method to make his hair as I did with Chihiro but this time I actually sewed his back hair and the hair on the top of his head into the seams so it looks a lot more polished.
It's really going to hurt me to let him go but I'm glad he's going to a good home! I'll have to check out Black Butler after this to see Sebastian in action!
