:Splatoon: Inkling Boy Markus Plush

Finally finished this Splatoon plush commission for the amazing of their Inkling Boy Markus!

I've been hoping for someone to commission an Inkling since the game came out and I'm so happy to have finally gotten the chance to make one!  Markus is such an unbelievable cutie and I had so much fun making him.  I was asked to use the same body style as I did for my Flapjack plush and I think it was a wonderful choice!  It works perfectly for the lanky body shape of the Inklings!

The hoodie is completely removable via a zipper and took quite a bit of trial and error to finally get right.  I even embroidered the little Firefin logo on it!  Underneath is a body suit.  The face is machine embroidered as usual and I love the way his big eyebrows turned out.  The tentacle ponytail was really fun to make.  It took a couple tries to figure out how the suction cups would work but I finally found a way to get them nice and smooth looking.  He stands about 2 feet tall, not counting the ponytail, and can stand with a bit of effort even though he is pretty top heavy.  

I'm really hoping to get to make more Inklings in the future!  There's just so many possibilities and I'd love to tackle a female Inkling one day!
